I agree. There must be something to this. It could be an indicator that a lot of the schools on his list are backing off a bit.

2025 EuroBasket tournament started today with Finland defeating Sweden 93-90.  Miikka played 8 minutes, scored 5 pts., 2 reb., 1 to.  Finland faces Great Britain on Friday.  The tournament runs through Sept. 14.

Finland pounds Great Britain 109-79.  They play Montenegro on Saturday.   Miikka played 13 min. scoring 6 points on 3-5 FG; 0-1 on 3s; no FT; 4 reb; 1 blk.

Finland (3-1) lost its first game in the tournament yesterday 81-78 to Lithuania.  Miikka played 14 min. (most he's played) scoring 6 pts. on 3-5 FG;  0-2 on 3s; 0 FT; 3 reb; 1 stl; 3 blk.  Next up is Germany on Wednesday.

Watched this game last night. Kid’s a pretty mesmerizing prospect. He is such a fluid mover for his size. The block was awesome. He swatted a breakaway where the guard had probably a 15ft head start and Murrinen caught him in about 60ft, went behind the guy and reached over him and got it. That was cool. He looks very much like a more athletically talented Grant Nelson. Only concern would be if he’ll ever gain weight. Wouldn’t bet on it. Imagine his niche will ultimately be as a big wing.
