That might get me to check out for the year. He’s been one of very few bright spots and I have no interest in watching Hatton for anything more than 2 minutes a game.

Hatton is the emergency backup if Ballo gets in early foul trouble, and Ballo never gets in early foul trouble.

In your Ballo injury scenario, Hatton is THE backup if Reneau gets in foul trouble, and Reneau always gets in foul trouble.

He’s been impressive most of the season at all things besides getting back on Defense. Several bad reads on dumpoff/block attempts. But he’s been our most consistent best player all season.

Dakich, doesn’t like it, but I like his passion. He’s pissed. He knows we should be better than we are and he isn’t happy about it.

I’m curious to see how he responds after that Purdue game. He has a lot to play for but he’s logging a ton of minutes. Rice and him just don’t work well together. Just like last year, we are better with Gallo at the point.

Kudos for Ballo for being a tough MF. Wish we had more like him.

Honestly, it was refreshing to see someone get in Rice’s @$$, maybe it will jump start him too!  As our most experienced player, I wished Galloway would do that too!  We all know Woodson won’t tear into them.

It’s funny you mention our best lineup with Gallo at the point!  According to the article below from the DailyHoosier, they  used CBS analytics and our best lineup is Leal, Galloway, Goode, Mgbako and Ballo.  It drops off a little when you add Rice for Leal but in that article it states how much better our offense gets with Gallo.  Adds to your point.  Start Leal, Galloway, Goode, Mgbako and Ballo and bring Reneau and Rice off the bench.  That’s too logical, Woodson would never do it.

I definitely have no issue with the attitude that the Big Fella has currently. I don't even care at this point if DD's accusations are true that Ballo M'fered the coaches, at least he is showing passion (or the distaste of losing). I really hate it when they lose and I wish a few more players would show the same hate and/or distaste for losing.

said the whole time Hatton needed to be in Dallas James spot and we need a better backup C.

Leal, Gallo, Goode, Mgbako, and Ballo needs to be the starting lineup tonight. If Rice and MR continue to not show up there is no need for them to play more then ten minutes.

I agree!  And if MW even throws in Carlyle, 2 or 3 three minute stretches are about it for all 3.  Just enough to give everyone a decent rest.  Rice and Reneau are two of the most selfish players I have ever seen.

I mean, sure, start those 5--- it solves nothing in the long run. We're an NIT at best anyway with that crew.

Sorry, but lineup talk is so freaking overrated. We suck, and it doesn't much matter who's on the court. The best version of ourselves undoubtedly includes Myles Rice playing at his best.... this is the 3rd straight PG (XJ, Cupps, and now MR) that has completely faltered with this coaching staff/offensive system. It's f'ing gross to watch.

Myles Rice might be a lower IQ player, struggles to process on the court, but never really got the "he's selfish" vibes. I have gotten that from MM, maybe Malik.

Slow yes but puts a better product on the floor which isn't saying much. Gallo over Rice just based on game IQ, Rice just doesn't have what it takes right not to lead a team.

I just can't take the Reneau pouting and whinning every five seconds. I don't allow it on my second grade team no reason a twenty year old junior in college should be doing it

Yes, his facial expressions looks like a kid not getting his way!  I just tired of his selfishness

Ballo has been balling, and bringing energy and anger (well deserved) to the floor game in and game out for some time now.

If CMW knew how to run a 1-true big offense with outside shooting we'd be a good team looking at a good tourney run with Ballo anchoring the inside game, but CMW doesn't, so Ballo is stuck leaving his heart on the floor only to have CMW leave his effort wasted.

Run an actual modern offense for him, he deserves it.

Galloway may possess a high basketball IQ but he sure chooses not to exercise it quite a lot of the time.

I concur, he can be absolutely maddening at times.
