Mikail Kamara to STUD in 2025

In the Hoosier Hysteriacs podcast, it was revealed that Mikail Kamara is moving to the STUD position for the 2025 season. I find this interesting and confusing because Stud is a hybrid DE/LB position?
 

Also means there will be room for upcoming/incoming DE to have an impact. Hmmm

Did Kamara drop back in coverage at all this year?

Interesting. I don’t see Kamara playing much coverage, but I assume he’ll be rushing from a bunch of angles which will be exciting. JMF mostly handled that position this year I think. Hopefully BSB or Hoosier Huddle digs in and gives us an idea of what to expect based on 2024.

On the podcast Kamara said he was switching to Lenell Carr’s position—basically the weak side DE and with more emphasis on pass rushing.

Might he have a better shot at the NFL from that position?  Just a thought.

Might just be a position to fill out of need. Who knows. If he doesn't get drafted he'll get a chance to prove his stuff for sure. The NFL is a completely different level of talent but in my opinion, he's got the quickness to hang with the big boys. We'll see. The good thing is we get another year to watch him!!!
