Swatting that into the seats is a good optic. 

Keeping it in play so a teammate can get it is a better one.

I don’t necessarily disagree but in the first half of an early season game I don’t have an issue with that substitution when 2/3 (Gallo and Goode) of the subs have played 2 tons of BT minutes in their career. Like to see different combos against decent  competition.
