This workout video is from March, so was still a Soph at the time. Huge frame for a kid that young. Coordination and movement skills look pretty good. The obvious thought when you look at him is that he was offered by the wrong Indiana school.

Same. If new coach, probably new staff. Probably new team. Who knows where this is going.

And if Woody is back, he doesn’t land the high school guys anyway so multiple reasons not to care much about our recruiting.

This is as good as place as any to tell you that Woody has broken me.

For the past several years, I have tried to follow as closely as possible the high school and AAU seasons of any kid that gets an IU offer and pass their performances on to you all.  I maintain game schedules for every one of these kids and have websites bookmarked to hopefully find post-game information for every kid that gets an IU offer.  I've also spent a lot of my winter evenings watching their high school games.

No more.

I'll continue to follow any kid that actually commits such as Trent Sisley, but I'm not going to waste my time when Woody's high school recruiting successes and effort is so poor.  If it's not important enough to him, it's no longer important enough to me.  I have other hobbies that I can spend my time pursuing.

Jokes aside, I think portal recruiting really is most important in the current landscape. So, I think it’s part Woody, part landscape.
