mickey one Posted April 15 Posted April 15 GCU overachieved big time last year, and their coach moved to Arizona State. Their NEW coach is an up and comer from South Carolina . . . so it should be exciting at GCU for Jules. She should have the PT to show what she can do. Quote

TTT Posted April 16 Posted April 16 IU Ladies up to 11 players. If Bargesser and/or Sanvik stays =12 and/or 13. 1 more, maybe 2 more players needed. 15 is full roster limitation. HoosierHoopster 1 Quote

Claxdj01 Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Would be good to get back Bargessar. I thought she gave us great minutes the last few years, and while not really a threat her defense was really good, and more so the year before did make some big plays. She is fast and can get up the floor TTT, GloryDays, Hoosierfanyuh and 1 other 4 Quote
TTT Posted April 16 Posted April 16 IU Ladies could use a little bit of Denmark flavor to go along with Sweeden. Quote
Aaron Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Moren is clearly spending on a budget (a big part of it her own doing with NIL as I described earlier in thread many times) and hoping to make lemonade with lemons. Noyan is another player who is more athletic and had huge games, but not consistently. Someone asked me if team will be good next year and I truthfully told them I have no idea. Given the athleticism and Moren's coaching, team could be better then last year or much worse and we won't know until they take the court. Socka, Noyan, Stotijn, and freshman all have potential to be elite or mediocre and until we see them play, team could literally be anywhere from 10-25 to 25-10. NatHillIV 1 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted April 16 Author Posted April 16 Probably better off to not get our pre-season hopes too wildly high for next season and then be pleasantly surprised at the actual results. NatHillIV and Aaron 2 Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted April 16 Author Posted April 16 We'll find out how good of a coach CTM is having to mold "strangers" into a cohesive unit. Shay and Lenee the only returnees of note and Lenee missed all of last season with an injury. I did read somewhere that it was a possibility that Lexi could withdraw from the portal. Quote

I think moren is going to do better with a new cast. I think at times her loyalty to players hurt. I don’t think Lilly should have ever started over striplin. I think it would be good to get bargesser back, if not just for some familiarity, but such a liability offensively. At times teams don’t even send a defender. Chloe had some great days and as many “what are you doing” days on the offensive end. Parrish this season i assume just battled injuries and they took their toll, not near as effective as the last few years. Benched Garzon in the Illinois game because was just getting absolutely torched on defense and couldn’t hit anything. And had several games in row being invisible. It’s going to be interesting. Henna actually got a decent amount of minutes which I thought was questionable, but did have some plays. Julianna was not very good and probably performed better as a freshman. Moren type player. Several college 2022 offers from comparable schools like Middle Tennessee. (hard worker outside practice, team player in high school while scoring). Good looking assertive player, good student, and high character. Quote
