Class of '66 Old Fart Posted February 25, 2024 Posted February 25, 2024 Don't let the beatdown over Iowa go for naught. NW (8-19) (3-13) is just 6-8 at home and on a 5-game losing streak but don't overlook them and come out flat. Be a good game to get the big early lead and let the bench get some quality minutes. colonel06 Posted February 25, 2024 Posted February 25, 2024 I sure can’t see how Ill beat the crap out of the women by 20 points by looking at them playing Iowa! Quote
Aaron Posted February 25, 2024 Posted February 25, 2024 Need to win by 20 plus to keep NET in top 15 and should be able to do that. Even winning closer than expected game (think Rutgers to open league play) could bring metrics down 3-4 spots and at 13 can't afford that. After Tuesday, winning at all should keep NET steady and a few spots inside of 16 given they will be Quad One. However, a sub-200 Wildcat squad needs a big win with style points so metrics don't suffer similar to home game against them. Class of '66 Old Fart 1 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted February 25, 2024 Author Posted February 25, 2024 Really a shame that you get more rewarded for the more you beat the crap out of an opponent. Quote

I actually like it but think it needs to be capped at 15-20 points. Winning by 40 should not be a bigger reward than winning by 30. Class of '66 Old Fart, Stuhoo and LIHoosier 3 Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted February 26, 2024 Author Posted February 26, 2024 Amanda Foster @amandafoster_15 A note from Indiana’s game notes today: Mackenzie Holmes needs just two points to pass Steve Alford and become the second place all-time leading scorer for both the Indiana men’s and women’s programs. Alford had 2,348 points and Holmes currently has 2,347. FloridaHoosierGirl and mamasa 1 1 Quote
