I can’t argue that!  We may be lucky to win 5-7 games in the B10

Wouldn’t surprise me if we beat Rutgers, but it also wouldn’t surprise me if we lose to them by double digits.  And if that happens, the avalanche will begin.

That's not opinion that's fact. Knight was beyond top tier as a coach. He knew ball like no other. As I have stated before, Piss Poor Planning Provides Piss Poor Performance. Knight knew that, Woody somehow didn't pick up on it or anything else from Knight and doesn't have a clue.

IMO if we lose, it very likely wont be due to some chess genius from Pikiell. What I am wondering is if we can withstand Bailey and Harper… they’re a very talented duo. But playing on the road, so… who knows…

If the team that shows up is the IU that’s played the last three games we are going to get dog walked out of our building. If they come out and build a solid lead I think we can get a win. Penn State is a loss. I’d be shocked if we go on the road and win that one. 
 

The big problem IMO, is we have to hope the other teams lay an egg. We can’t rely on IU to be better and win close against a team playing well. Woodsons teams collapse (or quit if you’re so inclined, but I think it’s more lack of coaching leadership) when they face adversity. It’s the reason he’s got an absurd number of double digit losses and a couple of ties for worst losses in IU history. Our games have gotten more about what the other teams do versus what IU does or causes (defense) the other teams to do. It’s a recipe for mediocre to bad basketball.

The person of few words is back, but you definitely say a lot in that one sentence.  I can’t root for us to lose, nor will I ever.  I think MW’s days are numbered and I still think Rutgers could beat us tomorrow because Pikel will have his team better prepared and will out Coach Woodson

Which is probably a lie, because we can’t trust what comes out of Woodson’s mouth.  He probably felt threatened because Fife had more basketball knowledge and how to better run a D1 program than MW

I think the king will do his job tomorrow. And the contract extention talk will grow. Quinn knows he can't let the king get away. When you only get 6.2 million in NIL money and 11-3 record is awfully impressive

Yep, without offering big money I don't know who he lands.  Inheriting TJD was a fortunate break too.

You know, he can bank $20M for "doin' his job" at Indiana... but he cannot control/manage what people think about who he is and what he stands for. Let Woodson go on laughing on his way to the bank, but deep down, he has to know what an abject failure he's been as Indiana's coach. He has to know how large his failure has been... and no amount of money can soothe the deep-down bruise to his ego...

Yeah but those guys sitting in the dungeon drinkig and smoking with a king are in awe of a living legend. If the king does leave I'm guessing athletic director quinn will make sure he gets double whatever the buyout it for doing his job and leaving the program in a terrific spot.

But he’s a better coach than Woodson but I think it’s more the lack of game preparation from us!
