Popular Post JerryYeagley23 Posted December 21, 2022 Popular Post Posted December 21, 2022 Good “get outta town game” for the ladies. It was never in doubt, but not the blowout it normally would be if the break weren’t coming. Couple notes: • Grace = no crutches, no boot, no bulky knee brace on the bench. Walking with no noticeable limp. Think we see her before end of January if no setbacks. • Bargesser is impressive in flashes. She has a little Patberger/Cardano-Hilary in her game. Plays tough D, can get in the lane. If she develops a consistent three ball, she’s gonna be fantastic. Remember she missed all of last year after tearing up her knee. She’ll continue to get better. • Garzon is no ordinary freshman. She looks like the freshman that UCONN rolls out there every year and somebody we wouldn’t have been able to recruit in years past. Great recruiting job by the staff to get her in candy stripes. •Moren is an excellent, excellent coach. She is doing for the women’s program, everything the fan base is clamoring for on the men’s side. She has a team built on defense first, that is long and athletic at every position. She hit the portal and brought in slam dunks in places of need in Scalia and Parrish. She recruits internationally with Garzon and sendvik. She lost three All Big-ten athletes last year from a top 10 team, and is arguably better this year because of player development (Chloe Moore-McNeil), portal and recruiting. Her teams play smart, clean basketball. She’s got her finger on the pulse of NIL (wearing a Grace Berger sweatshirt to “put some coin in her pocket while she’s out”) and uses it correctly (Sydney Parrish’s recruitment to IU, NIL was a huge selling point). Moren gives insightful postgame interviews about actual tactics and game plans instead of boiler plate answers because she understands the education level of our basketball fan base. Can’t say enough good things about her and this program. I genuinely hope to convert some more of the frustrated men’s fans this season because the basketball program they’re looking to get behind is here, it’s just of the other gender. ellen.walden, LIHoosier, J34 and 7 others 8 2 Quote

Moving around pretty freely. Teammates leaning on her during postgame, nobody looked like they were being cautious with her. She’s been doing drills on her own in practice. Probably close to getting cleared for limited contact drills. Stuhoo, Todd41 and TTT 1 2 Quote
