Another season like last season at best. Need Z back immediately.

Don't hold your breath.  One report I've seen said a 12/29 return was optimistic so sometime in January is probably more likely.

Dayum. Have the Toiletmakers just given up on women's hoops?

On the flipside, Michigan looks to be very, very good.

I remember two seasons ago, we were crushing them after 20 minutes in the B1G tourney. They turned the tables and rolled us in the second half.

Kinda been on different trajectories ever since.

May be an image of basketball and text that says 'BIG BIG/BIGNETWORK BIG NETWORK nCHИC> つ0 EAG NISSAN P 56 FINAL 104 日56A04 6 M'

Exactly right on all accounts.

UK beat them 76-35 and they lost to PFW a few weeks ago. They're not in a good place right now in women's basketball or football and that makes me happy.

Maryland WBB has announced that sophomore wing Ava McKennie is out for the season with a torn ACL; she was averaging 3.7 PPG and 1.3 RPG in 10.4 MPG; second Terp out with a torn ACL, along with Lea Bartelme

And now this for the Twerps.

Maryland WBB senior guard Kaylene Smikle has announced she'll undergo season-ending knee injury and that she intends to return for the 2026-27 season; two other Terps are also out for the season: Lea Bartelme and Ava McKennie

I am personally glad the IU women who went elsewhere are having success.  I notice their former IU teammates are highly supportive of their efforts at their new schools.

I wish them well.

This woman can coach.

Started at D-II. Went to a Final Four there. Was 32-0 the next year, but no tourney (COVID).

Jumped to Division I. Was 117-38 at Grand Canyon.

Went to Power 5 and is 18-4 at Arizona State. That's the same Arizona State that went 10-22 and 11-20 the two seasons prior.

In 11 seasons, she's 314-59 (.842). Granted, she only midway through her first season in big-time hoops. But that's damn impressive. Sorta seems a little like Ben McCollum.

Arizona State Ladies Basketball coach has that personality and she wins to back it up that recruits and young people are attracted to.  The couple short interviews I saw she is enthusiastic, high energy and confident.

Is Scott interviewing?
