So Tom Allen is staying and Rod Carey, who orchestrated massive OL improvement, is no longer the OL coach?

Oh goody :(

Tom doing anything but staying was always a pipe dream.

And I think you could’ve stepped in and orchestrated some OL improvement. I’ll take the former NFL and multi-time Wisconsin OL coach all day. Carey and Allen are friends…he very well may not have wanted the job full time anyways.

Yeah... I know you're right but it's just so hard to generate optimism about the program.

Hey! Lucas and Dasan are still in the fold!     (*for now)

With the college football QBs floating around in the transfer portal IU football will probably end up with another mid major QB to go with an improved mid major championship OL to go with a mid major championship defense.

Ah, some ******* good news for once.  Wisconsin usually had quality offensive lines, and if we can find a halfway competent strength and conditioning coach, we can build up some quality players who can protect the QB.

You said what?

Damn. Thought after his freshman year he was going to be a big contributor and he just never panned out.

Same, but you can't blame him with all the turnover he has seen at the QB position..I'm honestly surprised more WR's haven't put their name in the portal yet.

FWIW.. he's really good at his job.

They fired the other scapegoat, so now the world renowned S&C coordinator is getting the blame for concussions and ACLs?

It's the world we live in, unfortunately.

To prove the administration does care about the program, they should go back to grass. Too many non contact injuries in the past few years.

I'll admit, I haven't kept as close of tabs on IUFB as I would've liked the last few years. Can someone bring me up to speed on W T F happened with the program recently, when it looked like Allen was turning things around in 2019/2020?
