Okay then!

Had a great great summer. Killed it at the top 100 camp.

Big guard.

Demary played 2 years at Millbrook HS in Raleigh, NC, before transferring to Combine Academy.  He played AAU for Team Curry on the UAA circuit.  He's #59 on 247 and #58 on Rivals.

Look at Villanova teams the lady few years and they play 3 or 4 guards a lot

Apparently we are striving for a small, athletic team, ala the late '80s "flyin Illini". Worked pretty well for them. These decisions are way above my pay grade.

Woody clearly thinks we are losing more than one guard after this season.

And our staff might think there’s a little higher potential for rotation playing time for Logan Duncomb than the public is aware of.

Look at Villanova teams the lady few years and they play 3 or 4 guards a lot

Let’s try that in the B1G and see how it works. Is their a single, quality Big ten team that runs 3 and 4 guard sets? Putting yourself at a rebounding disadvantage in a game that is often won by rebounding and shot making isn’t exactly Moneyball.

Staff knows. I’ll see it unfold. Now let’s say this is a JHS replacement recruit? That ain’t pretty either. I suppose if you lose 5 starters gonna be hard to crack the top 25 no matter what unless you recruit like Duke or Kentucky.

As highlights vids go, this one is better than average. 2 things: 1) Don’t love the recoil in his jumper. I imagine there’s some inconsistency there, 2) If you don’t watch any of the rest of it, go to :58 and watch his defensive sequence. Great feet and terrific balance and change of direction. Those are defensive stopper movement skills right there.

Upon further review, it appears the tweet from Combine Academy that Demary had received an IU offer was not factual and that no offer had been extended.

To be fair, they did say "University of Indiana" and not "Indiana University." Maybe they didn't get the name wrong. :)
