Something that has always kinda irritated me with recruiting photos is the pointing at the camera.  Is it to put people on notice or something?  Anyway, let's get the Jokic wannabe kid signed.

There’s a better longer clip of him, but has what I assume is Serbian commentary playing over the entire thing which is a little tough to listen to. This has a bit of an intro to the kid with the added benefit of a great freaking song playing over it. Looks a lot like the 2 brothers playing at Illinois

‘26 from what I can tell. As we’ve discussed before, now that NIL is more than competitive with most European  professional leagues Eurobigs are gonna be coming out of the woodwork.

Players on the roster with remaining eligibility: Dorn, Sisley, Ristic, Andrej, Harris, Drake, Miles (7) 

Freshmen: PAM, Karvala (2)

So 9 spots filled, maybe 10 if we add Manhertz. Freshmen seem like developmental guys not likely to get minutes. 

Possible we see some transfers out. Need a starting backcourt and C at least.

If this roster was $10M, most of that is going to our seniors and the returning players very likely won't have leverage to demand a big pay increase for next year. So should have plenty of $$ ready to go. Hopefully it's competitive with this insane market.

Gonna be rough.  I think we need a full rebuild. Sisley, Dorn, maybe Ristic.  I think Miles should be playing some now.  So Miles too.  The rest can go.  And we need A LOT to even be what we are now, which isn’t any good.

For next year we are already looking to have more wings than Buffalouie's: Sisley, Miles, Prince AM, Karvala, Dorn, and Manhertz.

Gonna need a couple of primary ballhandlers and a couple of true bigs.

Has anyone seen enough of Drake to say he will be able to be a primary ballhandler next year.  I like the base of Sisley and Dorn.  Others not sure yet.

DDV has quietly put together a top 15 recruiting class. Definitely some misses many of us were bummed about in September/October, but 3 program foundational recruits + returning contributing players like Dorn and Sisley and maybe Miles, Drake, and Harris. Obviously still need an inside out big man and it would be great to pickup a high level primary ball handler, but it should be easier to drop the bag rather than needing to manage the budget for an entirely brand new roster top down.

Miles played pretty well against Purdue and Rutgers. Hopefully he can carve out 10-15 mins the rest of the year and help along his development. Really like what he brings on defense. Think he can absolutely contribute next year IMO. 

I think we'd be more likely to get minutes from Ristic than Drake next year. Totally my own speculation based on nothing factual, but I'd suspect he's most likely to transfer. 

Don't know what we're working with on Harris since he's been injured basically all year. Andrej is taking a redshirt year, I assume he's on a development plan. Hopefully he can play bench minutes next year. Depending how much the staff wants to flip the roster, I could see Harris moving on too. Probably cheap to retain him though, so wouldn't be surprised if he stays either. 

Hopefully PAM can have a role off the bench. I think we definitely need a starting backcourt and C. Probably a starting 4 too. With 6 departing seniors, I think we'll have enough free NIL "cap space" (for lack of a better term), I think we'll have more than enough to fill those. Hopefully we nail the scout.

UAA has always been low man on the totem pole and not likely to change with Puma and New Balance starting their own leagues.
