Did I miss this rumor in the spring? I’m sure that there’s at least a nugget of truth here because it would be such an outlandish thing to assert otherwise, but I find it almost impossible to believe that it reached the point of Walsh quitting without that stuff ending up all over the place. Feels way more likely that there were some conversations that went only so far and that was the end of it. But even if it is true, those guys utterly suck for breaking the seal and bringing that thing to light now.

This was my first reaction, the Hysterics are putting part of a story out there knowing exactly how it will be responded to, but keeping the relevant details that make it explainable out... again. Why are these guys the anti-Finebaum for Alabama?

Don't like that. I'm happy for him, but he's a solid recruiter in the state.

Eh, he'll probably be looking for another job in a year or two after Diebler gets fired. He probably would've been better off trying to get a job at a school with an established coach.

I think working at OSU ain’t too shabby.  Stay in the BIG…and the Midwest .  Who knows why anyone makes the choices they make.  It’s all speculation.  :)

Walsh wanted Ohio State a year ago. He gets it now. Good dude. All the main assistants ended in good spots.

Hunter to Texas
Yasir to LSU I believe
Walsh to Ohio State.

Someway, somehow we need to separate ourselves within the B1G.

I like our current staff of assistants very well. Good recruiters and some college ball knowledge and experience. Hope can get something rolling.
