Will be interesting to see just how high Booker gets to in the rankings. And the same goes for Page, the article says he is a safe bet to enter as a 4*

Every time I see D.J. Wagner referred to as Milt Wagner’s GRANDson, I swallow really hard.

Watched Coen Carr’s game against Expressions Elite(Matas Buzelis, Taylor Bowen, Gavin Griffiths). Had a nice game, 10/5/3 in a loss. Such an unusual player. Not a lot of 6’6” elite athletes who play relentlessly within the offense, even playing travel ball. Keep waiting for him to decide to just go out and dominate, but he’s not wired that way, at least at this point. Aside: Griffiths had a terrific game. Great looking stroke. Has an Iowa offer. It’d be ok with me if he doesn’t take it.

Was Buzelis silly good?

Sounds a lot like Geronimo

With the exception of just flat airing out an open 3, he was exactly what you expect. He is so skilled. Plus, he looks to still be growing. Looked to have every bit of 4” on Carr.

Comment on Coen Carr from Hayden Shelton of NextUpRecruits  -  A DOG with a high motor! He competes at the highest level everytime he’s on the floor, shows explosiveness off the bounce, & literally FLOATS above the rim!  @Demo is that a reasonably accurate assessment?

Yeah, that’s completely fair. Carr stays engaged even when a game’s decided. Maybe his best quality. He just plays. And as a pure athlete, he’s better than Geronimo. He’s not gonna have that body, but his ability to run, jump and change direction are rare. He just needs to believe. But, Lord, the kid’s still 16.

From a purely run/jump perspective, yeah I think he is. He’ll never have the lower body strength to do what Geronimo did to Luka Garza. No chance. But he has such quick twitch and he is a greyhound changing ends.

That would be very welcome. We need a team of players with that attitude.

Travis Graf:

The most anticipated game of the opening day in Louisville was the New Jersey Scholars vs Strive For Greatness. The Scholars feature top-25 prospects Aaron Bradshaw, Mackenzie Mgbako, and DJ Wagner.   Bronny James is also always a main attraction.  However, it was the fifth-highest rated prospect, four-star Brady Dunlap, who stole the show on the court. Dunlap went 7-of-14 from the field and 3-of-8 from three on the way to 17 points, four rebounds and three assists in 29 minutes. The SFG wing was efficient in the mid-range, utilizing nifty step-backs and post fades before elevating into his jumper. He also shot very confidently from the outside.

Comments from OTR Summer Jam.

Class of 2025 wing Caleb Wilson is making noise as the city’s top underclassman this spring. The 6-8 prospect backed up the hype by averaging a double-double at the Summer Jam event while playing up on the 17U AE5 team. Wilson proved he can score in several ways including by attacking the lane and getting to the foul line. On the defensive end, Wilson has huge upside as he protects the rim as shot blocker while also being able to defend several perimeter positions.

Class of 2023 forward Dennis Scott III is one of the more consistent performers this spring at OTR events. His play with AE5 has been diversified. A few weekends ago he showed his range as a shooter in the trail 4 spot. This time he proved he can still bang around with the big men and anchor the block. His size and strength are to be noted here. Scott is already established as one of the premier prospects in the Southeast region heading into the July recruiting period.
