What is everybody’s go to YouTube golf channels?  I like Rick Shiels, Mr. Short Game and for entertainment Good Good (although with the changing members it’s losing some luster) and Bob Does Sports.

I’m not much of a YouTube golf person, but for tips and drills Padraig Harringtons is the best out there, imo. I’ve watched a couple of those Break 50’s with Bryson and they’re not bad.

I’d think the greens would be the biggest problem followed by the bunkers and distance. The rough would be bad but most amateurs could punch out of it like finding the trees at your local. 
 

But it has to be nearly impossible to keep a ball on those greens without the spin and accuracy of the pros.

My problem with this, and I had the same issue in 2023, is I like almost every European guy more than I like every American. There’s a couple that could go either way head to head, but this American team is so unlikeable overall.

Yup, has been that way for me for a long time. Maybe from ‘08 or whenever it was that the American players whined about not being paid. Special mention to DeChambeau, who might be on the Rushmore of all-time punchable sports faces. 
Side note: what is Michael Jordan doing wearing a sweater with “JORDAN” in 6” letters across his chest? Are you kidding me? What, being a 6’6” black guy in a crowd of 20,000 middle aged white people not noticeable enough?

Word.  At this point I barely care if the US wins.  If things get really lopsided I could see the crowd turning on the home team to some extent.

For about 25 years the US side has been mostly guys who can’t play for anyone but themselves, and it shows.  Now they have the problem that Europe has more raw talent.  Not good!

At least this weekend has some great CFB games.

Yea. I really like Rahm and Fleetwood. But I would easily cheer against them if anyone on team USA showed a pulse. Golfing again tomorrow because this thing is o-v-e-r.

This. The pulse thing is a problem. Every Ryder Cup every Euro looks like there’s nowhere they’d rather be and 75% of the Americans look like they ate bad chicken at the event dinner. Been that way for 30 years, even when the Americans won. They need to just let the captain pick the entire team, no automatic qualifiers, and some guys need to look in the mirror and admit to themselves that this isn’t their environment and they’d be fine with not playing. I’ll take a couple of less talented guys who aren’t spooked.

Funny that the euros pee down their leg the last day tho. Had they not gifted hoveland a half point things might be different. Either way, the USA has to figure out how to compete in the team portion.
