I sorta wondered about that, too. Layne read that and was gonna jump the route anyway. We didn't necessarily need to take out the receiver.

Second stupid PI.  First one wasn't going to be caught and we would have had the ball.  That one the DB read and was going to be stepping in front anyway.  But yep, both obvious.

15 yard bounce results in a 40 yard punt.  Our punting game has stunk all year.

If heard is fire him to. Try someone else on the side line someone over there has to know what they are doing. Can't run plays that take time to develop anything over 2 seconds and the QB is getting hit. Oline can't block that long
