2025 General Recruiting Thread (BBall)

'25 Azavier Robinson playing 17U for Geo. Hill All Indy on the Indie circuit in this weekends NY2LA Swish 'N Dish.  Had a 19 pt. game last night that included 3- 3s.

Trevor Andershock:  Azavier Robinson (2025) doing what he does - dominate the game defensively, finish slashing to the rim, setting up others, and making shots.

More on Azavier Robinson from this past weekend.

As he always does on the court, Robinson was playing at an extremely high level. He started the tournament in a big way with a 19-point game but is just as impressive with his defensive play. An extremely aggressive perimeter defender with his quickness and athleticism to get all over opposing guards to be such a playmaker on the defensive end of the floor wreaking havoc on opposing offenses.

From last weekend's NY2LA Spring Extravaganza

Azavier Robinson – 2025 – PG – George Hill All Indy

Every time I see Robinson, he is playing at an extremely high level and doing so much to help his team win games and today was no different. The sophomore scored 25 points in a tight three-point victory. Even while scoring the ball very effectively with his outside shot making or finishing strong at the rim, the explosive guard was just as impactful with his pressure defense forcing turnovers in bunches.

EJ Walker update. Visiting IU 6/10. Interesting case: has made multiple visits, I believe Walsh watched him in the spring, he’s blown up pretty good, and yet IU hasn’t offered. Gotta be a story there.

And yet we're not mentioned among the most involved in his recruitment.  Seems odd doesn't it?

McKinney at 6’2 1/2” but 230 lbs as a sophomore is crazy…he’s a horse. If he lived in rural Indiana they’d say “he could eat hay with a pitchfork”

That’s one I question because he as strong as that kid is, if he genuinely outweighed Haralson by 20 lbs he’s been eating Snickers with a pitchfork. Kind of think that was supposed to be 209. Also, those are really good numbers for Sisley. Would have guessed plus length, but not +4.5. That’s excellent.

The officials came out and the one notable change has Trey McKenney at 215, which sounds more like it.
