That’s pretty much the prototype frame for a young post player. The kid’ll carry 250-260 in college easily.

Sporting a school's apparel immediately following a visit isn't that unusual.  Imagine we'll see him wearing Buckeye following that visit and something from WVU following that visit.  Kind of a way to say Thank You.

He visited Ohio State for a game in December and did no such thing. 

Also, posting a picture in the uniform of the team he visited is very common. Changing the profile pic? Never seen that before.

Maybe it's just an awkward tech moment by him, but still.

[Class of '66 Old Fart]

Last  night on the road at Lima Shawnee (9-4) it was the Austin Parks spectacular as he singlehandedly defeated Lima Shawnee scoring 29 pts. in a 57-24 St. Mary's (6-6) win.  He was 12-14 FG; 5-7 FT; 11 reb; 1 asst; 2 stl; 1 blk; 1 TO.  Virtually every one of Parks' shots was either a layup or a dunk.

Last night St. Mary's  Memorial (7-6) knocked off previously unbeaten Upper Scioto Valley (13-1) 53-35.   It was like seeing a completely different SMM team on the floor.  They didn't make careless TOs, they defended and they shot the ball reasonably well.  Parks probably played no more than 25 min. due to foul trouble.  SMM led throughout but iced the game with a 14-4 run over the last 3:30 of the game.

Parks finished with 12 pts. on 4-6 FG; 4-5 FT; 7 reb; 4 asst; 1 stl; 0 blk; 2 TO.  He actually attempted 2 jump shots making one of them and showed a nice little left handed jump hook.  He didn't try to force his way to the basket and made some very nice passes to cutters for easy  layups.

St. Mary's over Kenton 64-53.  Parks with 23 pts on 11-15 FG; 1-5 FT; 5 reb; 5 asst; 3 stl; 2 blk; 2 TO.  He scored 13 of his team's 17 points in the 4th Q.  Did a nice job of finding open teammates for easy buckets.

St. Mary's doesn't get a lot of newspaper coverage and they don't report stats to MaxPreps.  The following were published in The Daily Standard for Parks thru 11 games (he's played at least 14) --  16.3 ppg on 61% FG; 7.2 rpg; 3.2 apg.

St. Mary's (10-6) with a 70-51 win over Elida (3-14).  Parks 20 pts.  This was St. Mary's 5th win in a row.
