SERIES HISTORY
Indiana leads 13-12

LAST MEETING
11/12/06 - W, 54-51 (Lexington, Ky.)

NOTES

Indiana is coming off a 71-26 win over Samford on Thursday night, marking the fewest point scored by an opponent in the Teri Moren era and fewest by an opponent since 2004. Four players scored in double figures behind 13 points each from junior guard Grace Berger and sophomore forward Mackenzie Holmes.

Holmes leads the way through two games for IU on the offensive end, averaging 19.5 points per game. Guards Ali Patberg and Grace Berger also average double figures for the Hoosiers, each scoring 15.0 points per game.

Sunday's matchup of border rivals is the first in 14 years, as the two teams last met in 2006 where Indiana defeated Kentucky 54-51 in Lexington. The two teams played regular series meetings in the 80's and 90's, as IU holds the slight edge, 13-12.

Indiana has two Kentucky natives on the roster as it heads to Lexington on Sunday, with Louisville natives Berger (Sacred Heart) and senior guard Jaelynn Penn (Butler) each playing their first collegiate game in their home state. The duo each played part in the legendary high school Indiana vs. Kentucky All-Star games as respective seniors in 2017 and 2018.

Indiana selected to win the Big Ten this season in a vote by the conference's head coaches and media. It marks the first time in school history the Hoosiers have been picked to win the Big Ten. In addition, Patberg and Berger were each preseason All-Big Ten selections.

UP NEXT
IU will play its next game on Sunday, December 13 against Butler at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.

Greg Murray is actually radio broadcasting this game from his parents home!!  He tweeted this earlier this afternoon.
Here’s my setup for #iuwbb this afternoon. Thanks to my parents for letting me use their living room for road games. They have better internet, and a dog that barks much less than mine.

What in the literal f*ck was that call? Patterson pushes Patberg into a screen and correctly gets called for an offensive foul, then they change the call to a foul on Patberg?

It's Rupp Arena, what do you expect?

EDIT:  Oops, wrong court.  Apparently the BS doesn't stay in Rupp though.
