TTT Posted March 28, 2024 Posted March 28, 2024 Hey, how about giving 1/2 men’s basketball NIL money to T. Moren and IU Ladies Basketball program? Banksyrules 1 Quote

She’s watched the women’s program grow from almost no one there, no cheerleaders for the women, sit basically wherever you want, virtually no media coverage, an afterthought. Now they’re top 5 nationally in attendance, 4 straight SW16’s, turning into a perennial power team, and lead by imo one of the best coaches in the country. Banksyrules Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 Watching how LSU defended Clark yesterday makes me appreciate our coach that much more. We gave Clark hell at times. Now if we can have the resources and NIL money to get high end talent. Skies the limit. I have my doubts with this administration. Quote

That resource was CMM lol She gives hell to a lot of opposing perimeter players and a "CMM" as an athlete, is hella hard to find! I know what you're saying, though. I still think Beaumont is a high-end player, though, even though her mins were sparse this year. Quote

The offseason for Beaumont and Lamendola will be key to get stronger. Also, I expect Ali will be working with Bargesser on her shot all summer to 1) get it in a better position and 2) get the shot off quicker. We need Lexus to be able to score a bit to keep defenses from slacking off from her and clogging up the paint. Meister can be solid in a 1v1 but will need a lot of summer reps with doubles. Overall, excited to see what the future holds with the portal and the team make up. CTM will find a way to make us better. ALASKA HOOSIER, Stuhoo, J34 and 1 other 4 Quote
TTT Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 Waiting on what T. Moren and staff are able to acquire in transfer portal (couple impact high level players needed) is kinda like waiting to open a couple of presents…..not expecting 4 open scholarships available to be used…but there is a need for a couple including a physical inside taller player that is always needed, plus mid range and inside outside (Karlen/Marquette) type player. I expect Bargesser to improve her shooting quite a bit where she’s a dependable shooter. Quote

Correct but given over 800 in portal, there are opportunities to find pieces. Those pieces may not be what we fans think are the right fit but this is where we have to place our trust in the coaches. If they say they've found the right player in the portal? I say so too.... Teri Moren could tell the fanbase that she is pulling Grant Gelon or a 12 year old from the portal and everyone would think it was a great idea. HoosierHoopster 1 Quote

Get high level plus like to see Garzon sisters at IU….Happy secure shooters make for better shooters…my opinion. Quote
