Right now: 2 spots for 3 teams..I think Boise State has to win MWC to get in.

I think IU is the 3rd to last team in. Bid thief alert in the MWC. If Colorado State wins tonight MWC steals a bid (Boise State the other team). A10 and AAC also other leagues to watch. Will be no bid thieves in the Power 5 conferences. 80-90% confident IU is in. 100% would be going to Dayton.

Boise st has 6 wins against the projected tourney field with non conference wins over Clemson and st Mary’s I personally have them ahead of all 3 teams you listed

To be fair I 100% think they should be in over those teams, I just don't know if they'll do that. Will be interested to see tomorrow if they jump ahead of those teams after their win over New Mexico.

I've always wondered why that is the case. I do think Lunardi wants to hype up games (ex: Texas vs. Tennessee and Duke vs. UNC) to make it seem like it's a win and get in.

There is always a team that bracketologist over value and some think they are safe but in reality they are not.  Last year every one thought New Mexico was in the field but in reality they had their conference tourney just to get in because committee chair said they stole a bid after the selection show

At the end of the day all these teams at the bottom all have flaws and if any of them get left out then they should have won more.   It’s always a guessing game on what they value.  I have IU in however if they get left out I’m totally fine with it.  A would rather have mid major teams in it instead of middle of the pack high major teams

Colorado State currently looks like the best team I have ever seen.  I'd put them in over IU, UNC, etc.  The MWC deserves more respect.

Have to say watching the Big Ten tournament and then watching the New Mexico/Boise State game, I was disappointed with what I saw in the New Mexico/Boise State game.  While it was a tight and competitive game, I was disappointed with the quality of play.  I really enjoyed watching the Mountain West a few years ago.  Could be a one off, obviously.

If it’s anything like last year you won’t see any respect.  They were under seeded across the board last year in my opinion

I would assume that IU fans would want Boise State to win the MWC tournament now because there was a chance the committee already had them in the field while Colorado State was on the wrong side of the bubble.

The ordering of UNC, IU, Texas, Xavier, and San Diego State will be interesting.

Call me a conspiracy theorist but the NCAA is desperate to drum up support for NCAA tournament expansion. 

How do you help your case for doing that ? 
 

IU vs UNC in Dayton for the first four . See how the rest of it shakes out BUT I could see that match up already being locked up.
