Yep, not a lot of nba superstars coming out of duke despite their dominance over the last 25 years. Lots of solid careers but not many elite... redick, Laetner, hill, boozer, dunelavy, brand etc

Agree with your general point on Duke guys in the NBA, though not sure I’d have Brand and Hill on that list. If injuries didn’t derail him Grant Hill is a 10-time All-Star and HOFer. Brand while not on that level, was a multi-time All-Star. Even Laettner made an All-Star game, though I do admit his career in the NBA was not what people had hoped.

Again though, I do agree with overall point.

I realize that the numbers update as the tournament progresses, but if the Kenpom 20/20 rule holds, the winner will either be Villanova or Michigan. Go Nova.
I just want Kansas to go down.

Why cut North Carolina from the list

2 totally different concepts.

He cut UNC despite the current championship for various reasons.

Kansas is already in his final cut and being the current champion COULD give them a slightly more appeal than they already have.

AND, if Romeo truly doesn't know where he wants to go (which is supposedly the case) it could be what tips the scale.

The last 16 national champions finished the tournament at #18 or better in adjusted defensive efficiency.

They all started the tournament at #39 or better.

Kansas is currently #40. Can the Jayhawks end the trend?

Does this mean none of the 4 will continue the trend, or was this spotlight on Kansas only?

The other teams defenses are below the 18. Kansas is at 40 now I don’t think they could get below 18 in the games. If Kansas wins it they will be first team in 16 years to do it with a defense over 18

Ok. Thanks. No, I don't think Kansas will buck the trend.

The Final Four record for most three-pointers in a game is 13 (UNLV vs Indiana in 1987; the first year of three-point shot). Villanova has 10. There are nearly seven minutes left. In the first half.
David worlock
They have 12 with 4 min to go in 1st half
