Hopefully the "experts" are just reacting to it being on the heels of the osu visit, when, perhaps, all it did was clarify between there 3, and could still be IU or Michigan.  FINGERS CROSSED

I think Brandon Newman is going to be very good. I would be happy with him, TJD, and Keion Brooks.

I think “settle” for Newman or Franklin and trust that RP and DG can carry the load the next two years. Go all in on a 2020 PG.

I think that’s probably a great plan but if we can get Lewis we better go all in. Kid is a special talent. I like Newman quite a bit, he just seems like more of a 2 to me though.

Not if it’s the wrong one. Building a class, each commit affects the others. Has to work.

Having Gaffney on board probably helps Carton. He was at the official visit as well.

Strange timing on this commit so quickly. OSU must have really sold something great to break the Coach Belien connection so quickly.

If we can get Lewis by all means let’s do it. But I think it’s time to lock up a sure thing in Newman or Franklin. I think Lewis is too much of a gamble at this point, and both Newman and Franklin can become quality upperclassmen. Player development and experience is how Archie got to where he is now, no reason to throw that out the window chasing only shiny new 5 stars.
