I'm not sure where we stand with other 2019 centers but if he wanted to commit I'd take it. This is the type of 5 we need in today's game.

Without a doubt. Now granted before accepting I'd probably gives TJD a chance to committ so as not to sour the state.

I'd take TJD before or after Igiehon. If TJD keeps developing they would complement each other well.

I don't think you need that plodding big to win. "Bigs" like Igiehon and TJD have the size to defend more traditional bigs but cause problems with their athleticism. I want IU to have that option in the future.

In 2019, a senior Davis and a frosh Igiehon would challenge each other in practice and then give CAM options depending upon the opponent.

They're just high school stats but this is the type of big I'd like to see added. We don't have anyone like him. He will be able to guard opponents plodding bigs while being more mobile. A defensive and rebounding machine!

I don't know about recent efforts, but this was from Pap last August:  This recruitment is worth paying attention to and may have some legs.

Aidan Igiehon – Lawrence Woodmere – NY Lightning

With St. John’s head man Chris Mullin and assistant Matt Abdelmassih along with Xavier’s Luke Murray front and center, the class of 2019 big man had a field day against University Prep as he scored 15 points, snatched 17 rebounds, and blocked six shots. He showed his elite athleticism inside where he dominated and outstanding defensive instincts. He’s being recruited by nearly every high major school in the country.
