Just read on Twitter that Brenna wise from Pitt was also on campus recently visiting. Maybe her and Patberg visited at the same time?

Brenna Wise, a forward who led Pitt with 14.3 points and 6.4 rebounds during her sophomore season before deciding to transfer in late March. Wise will finalize her decision by the end of May, her father said.

Wise averaged 10.7 points and 7.6 rebounds during the 2015-16 season to earn ACC all-freshman team honors before again leading her team in points and rebounds as a sophomore. As a high school player, she was rated by ESPN as the nation’s No. 13 small forward in the class of 2015 and won a pair of Pennsylvania Class A titles with Vincentian Academy in Pittsburgh.

Wise started all 61 of her games at Pitt, averaging 29.6 minutes. In accordance with NCAA transfer rules, she will sit out the 2017-18 season as a redshirt at her next destination, after which she will have two years of eligibility remaining.

Certainly would be a nice addition along with Patberg but as you noted earlier we need help now and both these girls won't be able to play until '18-'19.

She's a Lady Hoosier!     Jon Blau:  Wise, who averaged 14.3 points and 6.4 rebounds per game as a sophomore last season, chose IU over Ohio St., Dayton, Michigan, 'Nova.   Also from Blau:  Interesting storyline with Pitt transfer Brenna Wise, coming to IU. She works out with John Miller, Archie Miller's dad.

Brenna Wise is having a big impact in her first season for the Indiana Hoosiers women’s basketball team. Indiana is off to a 9-0 start and Wise, who transferred to Indiana after two years at Pitt, is second on the team in scoring at 15.1 ppg. She leads in rebounds at 7.1, is shooting 55 percent from the field (50 percent from 3-point range) and 90 percent from the free-throw line. Wise is a Vincentian graduate.

As a for fun exercise Ben Malcomson combined Brenna's Pitt stats and her IU stats to see where her combined stats would have placed her in the IU record book.

Points - 15th - 1,421

Rebounds - 7th - 849

FT% - Tied for 3rd - 82.1%
