Invites should go out tonight/tomorrow I'm assuming OG won't get one since he can't work out, right? Quote

You would that players showing up in the 70 are appearing in a mock draft or two.....I haven't been seeing JBJ in any of them. Remember last year Yogi didn't get invited (Troy Williams did). I think after the top 50 or so, teams are more interested in seeing what players who have more questions about their capabilities get invited. I think teams already know what Blackmon can do....shoot, rebound decently for his size, but really lacking defensively. Ferrell's abilities were definitely more known than Williams last year which IMO is why Troy got the invite and not Yogi. Quote

I didn't know if they only put them through workouts or if they meet with the players, interview them, etc. as well. Quote
HoosierAloha Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 I believe they do official measurements as well. I remember some players going but not participating in drills. Dion Waters comes to mind for some reason. Are international players invited? If they are, do they show up often? Hoosierfan2017 1 Quote

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile appHe has some nice dunks and can shoot the three. I dont don't see much else. His foot work is terrible his defense below average. You think he is going to be able to defend out of the wing in the nba? Guys like troy Williams would blow right by him. He should be a four year college player period but it's up to him.Sent from my SM-J700T using Tapatalk Quote
MoyeNeeded Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 0% chance Bryant stays 40% chance Blackmon stays Those are my completely arbitrary numbers. If Blackmon stays I see Cujo leaving. There won't be time for him next year and we're recruiting some top guards in 2018. The rumors of TB missing classes, him not being at the Hoosier Showcase and Archie not talking about him make me think he has already made his decision. It seems like Blackmon is intrigued by the thought of playing for Archie. I think he wants to play pro ball next year, but I also think he's interested in coming back because of the way Archie would use him. You would think that JBJ would've extended his shooting range distances during his pre draft workout practices in the above posted video. That is where he would primarily be utilized. All of his deep shooting was from the collegiate line. Seems that he would be sjooting from NBA range.Sent from my SM-G930P using BtownBanners mobile app Hoosierfan2017 1 Quote

mdn82 Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Weren't people trying to convince themselves that Zeller and Oladipo wouldn't leave? They were in much different situations. But in such a short time, the thought process of leaving has greatly changed. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile appNot many people at all on HSN that the quite a few here were on. They were predicted lottery picks for a while that season in a weak draft before a stronger draft. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

My point was that an NBA coach that is putting Thomas Bryant to guard a quick, athletic small forward shouldn't have a job. Seems silly. Edited April 29, 2017 by brumdog45 Quote

Bryant played like he was a wing last year and dropped weight to be more of a perimeter player. He's gonna have to add a bunch of mass to play in the post in the NBA. He'll never be quick or athletic enough to play on the wing. recker222000 1 Quote

I like Bridges but I'd be surprised if he's ever an All-Star. More like Aaron Gordon with a better jumpshot. yogisballin 1 Quote
