Deland McCullough to USC

Recommended Posts

247Sports has learned that Indiana running backs coach Deland McCullough interviewed for the opening on USC’s staff for a similar position.

The 44-year old McCullough is one of the top young coaches in college football.

Running backs who have shined under McCullough in Bloomington include Tevin Coleman of the Atlanta Falcons, Jordan Howard of the Chicago Bears and most recently Devine Redding who declared early for the NFL Draft following this past season.

Under McCullough’s watch, the Hoosiers have broke 19 school rushing records.

USC’s lost former running backs coach Tommie Robinson to LSU after National Signing Day.

McCullough played at Miami (Ohio) where he was a three-time All-Conference selection and finalist for the Doak Walker Award given to the nation’s top running back.

Hmm if we regress gonna be easy to blame Allen but might not be the case

Given the turnover at the assistant positions, wouldn't be surprised to see a lackluster offense, but it should still be better than last year, and no excuses on the defensive side. Gotta imagine Frey and DMC were not huge surprises to Allen.

Edit: holy run-on

Or can we just AT to coach lol, or as someone said above.... Get pechac. Heck let's pull a Harbaugh who hires these recruits fathers onto the staff and lands them....
