IUMBB vs Michigan State Game Thread - Saturday at 4:00 ET

Postgame Izzo said we played them better than anyone in the first half all year. That is telling without the guys were missing. Still a high ceiling for this team. Also said JBJ was best shot maker by far this year. One positive for Izzo is how Eron Harris played. Should help them more throughout the year if he can keep it up.

If jbj keeps this up we go 13 -5 in the big ten.

The team has always had a high ceiling. It's the gap between that and our floor that is the problem.

Anyone surprised Harris had a big game against us in the hall? Indiana kid coming back to assembly hall never works out well for Indiana

During the last three or four minutes of the game we were excellent! No last-minute turnovers or blowup this time! Well done guys.

Yep.  And they had the ball in the hands of the right people for a change.    Is it an anomaly or a trend?

He wont. Huge difference between JBJ and what Yogi did for us last year. James will go MIA a few times.  Have you looked at the back half of this schedule? TOUGH! Finish around .500.

Yes I have but lasts years was as well and they proved me wrong. Losses at purdue and wisc but all other games are winnable.

Here is my theory based on assumption lol. When Crean loses a good player to injury and makes us less talented he actually game plans better and is a better coach from it. When he has more talent he expects them to win on their own. Only thing that seems to make sense for me.

I still found him frustrating to watch, too out of control and seems to just be in a funk

Ward has given a lot of teams a lot of trouble.

I haven't checked the box score, but it seemed to me that TB completely outplayed him. I like that.

JBJ did what he does. Similar to the Kansas game only better. He is on one of his good streaks. Lord help us when he goes MIA. Big positive for me was Greene. He is starting to get more comfortable. Makes things happen on both ends. Could pay dividends later on.
