You guys watched Tronti's tape right? I get that the kid has talent. But he makes a lot of the same throws that we all get mad at Lagow for making. He got bailed out a lot by his receivers on deep throws and needs to learn to not throw it as hard as he can all the time. Just my two cents. Lots of QB accuracy issues are covered up in high school

I can respect that. However don't WRs bail QBs out a lot of the time... Hence amazing catches or comebacks to the ball?  And yes I watched his tape....I watch really all of our recruits tapes as its a hobby of mine since I'm not coaching or recruiting for a team. but you also don't win Mr. Football in Florida if you don't have talent and I don't think his WRs bailed him out all season to earn that award.

IU released their early 2-deep depth chart as part of their media guide yesterday. Looks like Majette will be the starting RB now that Camion is officially done. Hopefully he can be effective, definitely had some good moments before getting hurt last year.

Coach Allen also mentioned Bryant Fitzgerald, Whop Philyor, and Juwan Burgess as freshmen that have stood out this summer.

Fitz is a stuuuuud. My god Kiante Walton has put on some weight. I hate Daughtery didn't come back. Crazy that as of now Andre Brown beat out Riggins. Did Brown get a RS last year?

My brother said that fitz told him that marcelino is mentoring him a lot. And I thpught daughtery was a senior last year? Was he 5th year elig?

Fitz played travel ball in 5th and 6th grade for my gfs dad. I thought Daughtery was a RS JR. Oh well, I could be wrong.

Also did some other research. A lot of news outlets in FL called Tronti very accurate. I don't think it's fair to compare him to Lagow really. Two different players. One can get out of pocket which means deep balls are usually there to be thrown. 

 

Also senior football comparisons Tronti to Lagow. Lagow had accuracy and turnover issues in HS it seems as well

QB ratings are something to look at and Tronti played against plantation HS which was littered with DBs who went D1. Threw 5tds and no INTs

If they're at least in the same ballpark then I'd rather play the young guy to get him experience, whether that be Ramsey, Tronti, etc.

I have zero confidence in Lagow. Fully expect Ramsey to be the starter at some point this year, and I hope it's sooner rather than later.

But I was stating and discussing that he was actually really accurate and I think we got a steal in this kid and I was just saying I think he's in a better position to win the job next year after or if he redshirts this year. I don't think he'll beat Ramsey out next year.

That's not how football works. If it's a tie, it goes to the older guy. Don't think it'll be a tie though. Ramsey would be the only one with a chance to unseat Lagow.

I know Andre Brown got injured last year and received a medical redshirt. He showed flashes of being good as a true freshman in 2015 but after some injuries I would have thought Riggins had the starting spot locked.
