The sound of anyone booing would be drowned out by the halls roof exploding!

Of course, the majority would go nuts ... but the boos would still be there.  I think a lot of people feel he has worn out his welcome.

I personally would be giving a standing ovation. I know what the man accomplished for Indiana basketball, and more. He gave me alot of joy throughout the years. And, I for one, appreciated the greatness he brought.

As would I, frankly everyone should.  The man has his issues, heck his issues have issues, and I don't like that he's been so resistant to bury the hatchet so to speak and return but that doesn't change that he is and always will be a massive part of the history of Indiana basketball.  You think Indiana basketball and you think Bob Knight, and vice versa.

I think a polite and contained standing ovation would be appropriate. Yes, he earned a lot of love and respect for three decades of coaching brilliance.  But then we need to also weigh his sixteen years of spite and bitterness towards the entire Hoosier nation, an ugliness that has long outlasted the individuals with whom he had issues.

I hear ya, friend, but I'm also fairly certain that if Bob Knight showed up in Assembly Hall, there would be nothing "polite and contained."

The place would go absolutely insane if he actually showed up tomorrow night.

Spite and bitterness towards the entire Hoosier Nation? Seemed he really enjoyed those people when they were giving him money...
