Per Dakich, "he would not be surprised" if RMK is there for the '81 reunion ceremony. Given Dakich's past attention to this issue, methinks this time it's a real possibility, maybe even likely.

If so:

It would mean that RMK admitted that he screwed up by not appearing with the '76 team; extraordinary for RMK to imply that he made a mistake.

If RMK appears, I betcha he'll enter pushing Landon Turner's wheelchair.

He's basically saying that the odds are not favorable and don't hold your breath.

Steve Risley tweeted that he spoke with RMK two weeks ago, and that it was basically a "no way."
...which of course, means that RMK is talking/thinking about it.

Dakich backpedaled pretty hard last night on ESPN. Basically said that he has no idea, but he knows that it's getting harder to get Indiana people to sponsor his lectures around the state and maybe that would put him back in good favor. He has no idea lol.

Wow, I was surprised to see a discussion regarding an appearance by Coach Knight.  The chances of him attending are slim and none.  I just think if he didn't come for the 76 team, he isn't going to come for the 81 team.  Honestly, I'm fine with it either way.  It's about that team and how they can turn a season.  Go Hoosiers beat the heels, again.

The people that have been fed up with RMK would likely watch the sideshow in relative silence, and those cheering would be really loud.

Not sure which tack I would take if I were there. Probably relatively quiet for me.
