Ideally both, but Mohammed strikes me as offering a high level of "refuse-to-lose" stuff (attitude, motor, skills). He's been #1 on my list for a loooong time. I do feel like our current freshmen are going to bring an attitude upgrade, but Mohammed stands out to me as being elite in that regard.

I'm gonna project positive results a little on Leal, Galloway, and Franklin and say that while getting high end talent is a good thing, if this one doesn't turn out for IU I will not have a moment's pause. If I had a choice between a commit by this 5* or #60 Mason Miller at 6'9", I'd choose Miller all day and twice on Sunday.

Per Alec Lasley, the camo unis are out. On Thursday, it was announced that Indiana would be wearing 'Salute to Service' uniforms honoring the United States veterans ahead of Veterans Day on Nov. 11. Indiana will no longer be wearing these uniforms, sources told TheHoosier.com. Sources indicated that the camo gray color would be 'too white' and 'too close' to the Michigan colors. Michigan is expected to be wearing its all-white jersey combo on Saturday. Official statement from IU.

Business is his college major of interest. Stanford is interested in him, which is often considered the number one business school. The next best business school on his list of current suitors is probably Indiana (typically ranked in the top 25). Proximity to home and playing on a bigger stage could play a part. Growing up just outside Chicago, Northwestern is a fantastic business school (top 3) but unlikely to have draw beyond that. And as a northern Indiana kid, Michigan could have some pull if they begin recruitment (top 10 business school, playing on a big stage for a rich basketball program with a former NBA payer as a coach). It is very likely he has his sights set on earning a paycheck on the court, though, which might diminish his need to attend a school with a top business school ranking. Just thinking aloud.

While it would be nice to get Muhammad, we have Leal, Galloway, and Franklin with a similar projected position. I fully expect us to hear about us approaching a big or two in the next few weeks, and I’m thinking a transfer big is a likelihood for 2021. The fan base is gonna need to adjust expectations from shiny ranked young kids, to what it will take to win. Gonna need a Bielfeldt, not a Fitzner!
