Now IU Ladies need an impactful big and the job would be complete. Crooks would make 3 Iowa State teammates/friends. And Beaumont has never blinked being a great ambassador for IU Ladies basketball. That would be like IU Ladies in a cyclone.

Agree. Assume at this point it probably won’t be Olsen specifically but now that you have a Burton who really likes to get in the lane and distort defenses, a Mustaf who’s primarily a straight line diver who needs lanes and Yigitoglu who’s primarily a roll man and finisher a floor spacing 4 would be a really, really useful piece to add. Side note: Have already become tired of trying to remember and then type our new C’s name. It’s not sticking at all. Not even close. So going forward he’s The Turk. That’s what I’m going with. Would absolutely love this one, but yeah, I agree with ya here.

Looks as if it's finally official. She will be a redshirt senior -- so we only get her for one year. Spent her first two seasons at Marquette before one full and one partial season in Ames. Averaged 6 points and shot 40% from distance last season. Kinda weird -- she shot 71.1% from the line as a freshman, 75.7% as a sophomore (both at Marquette), 82.4% in her junior season (played only 10 games before redshirting due to a hip injury), but only 48.5% last season.

I think we'll land someone tomorrow.

He’s a really good volume 3 pt shooter. He doesn’t give you anything else however. Suppose you can hide him in certain lineups where you have a ton of size and athleticism around him. I think at this juncture he would be a very good take given how the rest of the roster has come together.

Obviously high major schools see something that I'm not. One year of D1 basketball at a mid-major. Is he a Canadian legend? I'd take the guy from Irvine unless there's a Euro shocker.

Also of note: 11 of these 12 have multiple years of eligibility left.
