Really? Lol. Great stuff.

Why wouldn’t they get refs from another conference to do a inter-conference game? Does it make too much sense?

Thats what I was thinking. But B1G refs are calling the Iowa-Iowa State game. Maybe getting guys from another conference is less common than I thought?

Ha ha, personal foul on Toledo on the kickoff, the checks havent cleared yet.

On 2nd look, yeah stupid move

I'm following the game cast. Like they've had what 5 or 6 penalties in the last minute of game action? Yep, 100% legit

There was PI, defensive holding, another PI, personal foul(legit) and a false start in 7 snaps.

Great. Gonna be another year with ND escaping against an awful schedule. Really looking forward to end of the year for Brian Kelly to come out and talk about them belonging in the playoffs. To just lose by 30ish

Its apparently standard practice for the visiting team in a non-conference game to supply the officials.

I guess it partially negates a double or triple home field advantage but clearly refs from another conference makes the most sense from an equality standpoint.

Wait…the PAC12 refs are in on it too?!?

Stuhoo. OSU didn’t win the game or get any gifted calls or non calls to impact the end of the game. That’s how it works. In theory.

Actually OSU complained of a targeting call that didn’t get called (or reviewed) that the announcers agreed was a targeting call that would have extended a drive with about 7 min left. Would the B1G refs have called or reviewed that? Could that have had an impact on the winner of the game. Subtle call or non call here or there can have an impact.

I keep hearing about how talented Texas A&M is. They were fine last week, and now they're in a battle with Colorado.

They miss Mond terribly. And I wonder how much of a factor altitude plays being at Mile High.

Then I’m confused…who’s in on it?

B1G wants it’s best team to make the college 4 team playoff.  The money is worth it to them.  Usually Ohio State is the best team in the B1G.  If the B1G and it’s refs can help it’s best team look impressive enough for the comittee to select it’s team to compete in the College Playoff, money is to be made. Ohio State appears to be the beneficiary of this thought process by being the best team in the B1G recently.

Today OSU didn’t get as friendly as a whistle today as they may be accustomed too.  They lost.  Would B1G refs have made the difference?  That’s a question you can ask yourself.

Now the question in my mind, is with an early loss does some other B1G team become the conference darling or is OSU still its best College Playoff option?

It will be interesting if Penn St runs the table up to their game vs O$U which would include wins over Auburn and at iowa.
