This game getting to OT locks TCU in, imo. My dream scenario is UGA being unimpressive tonight, UM destroying Purdue, them flipping, and we get #1 UM vs #4 OSU in the semis. They don’t like rematches, but they do like money and that semifinal would absolutely bring it by the cargo ship.

So, the Toiletmakers just ran a fake punt -- snapping it to the up back, who ran for the first down.

I don't recall us doing anything like that all season. No fake punts. No surprise onside kicks. No fake field goals. Maybe we did, but if so, I don't remember them.

We won four damn games. We were a team that needed to take chances like that. What's the harm if it fails -- another loss?

We need all the moral victories we can get

Ah, good.  The Wolverines are running away.  This is what we want to see.

Not over yet. Purdue games take an eternity because all they do is throw the ball. Long way to go, literally.

In all seriousness, that game (minus the outcome) was every Purdue fan's wet dream. It was right up their "spoilermaker" alley (damn I'm so sick of hearing that word). Absolutely nothing to lose, ultimate underdog against a team that had some key guys missing and was undoubtedly thinking about the upcoming CFP games, a big play in the first half that got everybody buzzing, O'Connell having the game of his life after the death of his brother, along with some shady officiating (like the play I mentioned above).

People like to sh*t on Jim Harbaugh, but he's done a phenomenal job the last two years, especially keeping his team composed in that environment tonight.

Yet they ran the ball 4 or 5 times in a row, down 17, with 6 minutes to go. Terrible play calling.

The ref who picked up the flag when McCarthy got pulled down by his facemask wanted Purdue to win.

Deep down Purdue is an average program. They get a wild amount of calls liks this. Its weird. That fake punt they probably didn't convert either. But since the refs were super eager to give them the first down on the field it was too hard to overturn, like most reviews where they try to figure out where a guy was down and the ball was.

I think that had more to do with the defense Michigan was playing. Michigan had trouble with Purdue's receivers all game, and was perfectly content to let Purdue keep it on the ground and keep the clock moving by that point.

Hugh Freeze goes from Liberty to Auburn.

And now, Jamey Chadwell (a hot name for some time) goes from Coastal Carolina to Liberty. Since Liberty pretty much prints money, I'm sure his bank account will see significant growth, but football-wise, Coastal to Liberty seems very lateral.

I could be wrong, but I seem to recall Chadwell being mentioned as a candidate for much bigger openings in the past.

P.S. -- It also means CTA won't be going to Liberty. Guess they weren't  ready for LEO!

Agree from the Michigan perspective, however you don't let the clock keep running, while trying to make up 17 points. Unless you're expecting to gain 10 ypc to stop clock each time.
