Cincy can't make them enough money. Committee has basically made it a guarantee for Georgia and Alabama to be in the playoff.

Assuming Bama beats UGa in the SEC championship game.....granted there is a 103% chance of that happening.

OU, MSU, Wake and even Cincy can blow this whole thing up to force an expansion of the CFP. Assuming all those schools go undefeated I don't see how the committee would pass up 3 P5 schools over one loss schools like Oregon and/or Bama and Georgia. But then again, I also thought they'd have Cincy in the top 4 right now. Having said all that, I do think the top two schools in the country are indeed Georgia and Bama. Still a lot of football to be played though.

Yeah, lots of ball to be played yet.  The dust will settle a tad more.

Agree.

That being said I would like an 8 team playoff. First round right before Xmas, 2nd around New Years and then the Natty. The 7 biggest bowls each rotate hosting one of the games.

Listening to Greg McElroy gush over Stetson Bennett like he’s Russell Wilson is embarrassing. I don’t talk about my kids this way.

Wake Forest in tied with UNC in their weekly no defense allowed game

1st time I’ve watched Wake. Will also be the last. Giving up 58 pts to a 4-4 team. Heard someone say this week they were a more legit playoff contender than Cincinnati. Uh huh.

Schedule wise, they are/were.

I love watching Wake for the same reasons that the late Bill Lynch/early Kevin Wilson era got me addicted to IUFB. Complete chaos, games that lasted 5 hours, and a touchdown on every drive for both teams whether they were playing Ohio State or Southern Illinois.

Would be interesting to see what happens if UGA and 'Bama win out and play in the SEC title game -- and the 'Dogs win. Does the committee take a two-loss 'Bama team?

Though there are two-plus quarters to be played, Purdue looks as if it could beat the No. 3-ranked team three weeks after beating the No. 2 team.

That bums me out.

Boilers looking good...sigh

Cincinnati matching their dominating 1st half performance from last week with another 2-point halftime lead against noted power 3-5 Tulsa. Is 6th too high? The people are talking.
