Class of '66 Old Fart Posted February 12, 2017 Author Posted February 12, 2017 Deron Williams returning to the starting lineup so for the forseeable future Yogi will be coming off the bench. But even so, he's certainly made his mark with the Mavs and earned a pro contract. Well done young man, well done. Napleshoosier, HoosierAloha, hsrtxp and 3 others 6 Quote

But even so, he's certainly made his mark with the Mavs and earned a pro contract. Well done young man, well done.I wouldn't look at it like that. They need Deron to boost his stock to trade him for some picks. There was mention of teams in the late 1st showing interest in trading that pick for him. Yogi just needs to ride it out and wait his turn. I think he is rotation player regardless from here on out. With Barea, Harris, Williams and him though something needs to happen. They need wing players badly so I could see a flop with Deron and something else for Iman Shumpert.Sent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile app reconmkd and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote

Cavs are probably only team really interested and they are gonna make the move in the next day or two to counter Toronto. Isiah said Yogi was one of the few guys who annoyed him last night. He has outplayed Dame & Kyrie as well as Parker. He needs the minutes. If he doesn't get 23-28 MPG the rest of the way I'd be shocked. Mavs usually know what their doing.
