I’m the same as you on 2K, I’ll wait til it gets cheap and then play the hell out of it for a few months, but I’m a solo MyLeague guy. I’m still really enjoying 22, but 23 looks great from what I’ve seen. I usually go through a phase with The Show around opening day where solo franchise is all I play. It really is a great game and has been day one on Gamepass for a couple years which rocks. I’m also a total PGA 2K nerd. I've wanted to try the dirt racing games they have came out with. From Brownstown, small dirt track is sort of in my blood.

On the series X I’m a gears  of war guy. That’s about the only thing I play on the Xbox anymore.  Not much of a Call of duty fan.   PS5 horizon forbidden west is awesome, and I’m finally playing through Last of Us.  Didn’t play it the first time around but got  pS5 version.  Really great story.   Currently playing through part 2.   The hbo  series comes out in January.

I have a deep, burning love for dirt racing lol. The Heat games have it but it’s not great and there’s no open wheel. I haven’t tried the newest dirt game that just came out but it looks pretty sweet. Can’t remember the name, but I think the iRacing guys made it.

COD Warzone III campaign is very cool, and coop play against Zombies looks like it’ll be fun (again). A break from pvp (I still play Div / Div 2).

Interested in The Day Before. Early release drop now set for Dec 7.

Mario RPG remake comes out Friday.  Can’t wait to play it with my daughter. She’s adore Mario games. I’ve never been that big a fan but this was always the exception. If anybody else has fond memories it looks fantastic

Recently had the itch to play College Hoops 2k8 again. Got the old 360 out of garage and fired up it circa 07-08 getting my start at North Florida. After a solid couple seasons I left for St. Bonaventure. A couple deep tournament runs got me the Illinois job. After 2 seasons and coming of a National Championship game appearance in 2021, the Indiana job came open ironically. Coach P spurned the Illini fresh off a title game appearance and left for his dream job in Bloomington. Year 1 saw a 27-8 finish and a loss in the sweet 16. Currently in year 2 Indiana sits at 19-1 and #5 in the country. Coach P is still in search of his first title and returning a Indiana back to glory.

The 11th ranked Michigan Wolverines came to Bloomington to take on the 5th ranked Hoosiers. Michigan was hot from 3 in the first half and took a 7 point lead into the break. Michigan continued their hot shooting in the second half and got up as many as 9 before Indiana JR forward Guzman got hot from 3 to close the game. With 3:00 left in the game Indiana was unconscious from behind the arc and took a 14 point lead over the Wolverines. 79-71 final from Bloomington in favor of the Hoosiers. Up next is a date with the 14th ranked Michigan State Spartans.

Hemby was 85 overall 93 speed (a tick low imo).. but that's a really good overall.

I'm not willing to admit how many CFB25 "Road to the CFP" I've played lol.... it's a lot and I'm pretty good. 

Rourke is good as **** on that game... so is Sarratt and the OL. Williams, Price, and the running backs are serviceable. 

Fisher, Ponds, Kamara-- very good. Carr and DTs are pretty solid. Walker is listed as 79 speed lol.... about 10 or more ratings too low, dude ran a 4.38 40. Very annoying... 

Sharpe, Jamier Johnson struggle. I play mostly Cover 1 with a QB spy out of the Nickel, and play Ponds at the slot corner. I also very much hope Ferrell is better/faster this season... he's an 83 rating, so not bad, but he should be more like an 87 with respectable speed.

Really hoping Mendoza is an 85/86 rating... Rourke is such a weapon in that game. 

Carter Smith should be 86+, Coogan 82-84..... hopefully the rest of the OL is respectable and Evans should be an 84, at least, so that will be an interesting position group in this edition of the game/update. Benson and Zen, hopefullly those guys are 80s, at least.... Bray Lynch should have a respectable rating. 

Omar Cooper 82 ish... maybe a little higher. 

 

 

I'm sure I'll have more opinions on this moving forward lol ...this game consumes me.

Got my Switch 2 pre-order today.   Cant wait until June 5th.   Mario Kart World will be taking up a lot of my free time.  Going to be some battles between my son and I.

What do you think of the HBO series? Some stuff I understand hasn’t followed the game. Watched S1 and now watching S2, still don’t have a PS so haven’t yet played the game but at some point I will.

I like it.  They have switched some stuff up but for the most part it follows the game.    The games are really good.  Story wise one of the best stories in a video game series.   In the 2nd game  you do not find out who Abby is until middle part of  the game or why she did what she did and you play as her early in the game.

Cool, I'm going to have to get a PS to play the game. I'm mostly a PVP player but also enjoy survival games (the Survival mode in Division 1 is outstanding), and continue to hear the story line is really good in this game. Glad to hear the HBO series mostly tracks the game.
