Analysis: I choose not to pile on Troy Williams

Recommended Posts

There is more to the game than points scored. But I would say he has been much better lately

... Yes, but that scoring is absurd. I'm pretty confident that if I wanted to look into his rebounding and assist numbers, they'll reinforce that he's been locked in of late. His turnovers have been down all year.

I like what Troy offers this team. He plays with energy and great athleticism. When he is on it takes the team to a much higher level. His turnovers are slightly up this year over last. His rebounding and scoring are pretty much at an equal level, just slightly down. His minutes are also a bit lower. Here is his career numbers as a Hoosier.

Man, real stagnant from last year.

I thought his turnovers were down from last year, but I was wrong about that. I looked into his TO numbers more though:

- 2.9 TO per game during non-conference play

- 2.3 TO per game during conference play

- 1.8 TO per game versus the top half of the B1G (MSU, Wisconsin, Purdue, Maryland, OSU, and Iowa)

Hope he comes back next year, he has a lot of room to improve.

Yeah I think I am finally in the camp that I want Troy to come back next year.

If he does I think Bryant, OG and Troy have got to start.

am I the only one that thinks right now Juwan is better than OG? I think obviously due to his physical gifts OG has the higher pro potential but as of now Juwan is the better player. Love them both though
