MartintheMopMan Posted November 10, 2015 Author Posted November 10, 2015 The 3's he tried at the beginning of both halves barely got the glass. I said something, surely a little saltier than 'Dagnabit' Yeah, but I can forgive those, especially in an exhibition game. He needs to practice that shot in real game situations. He's played slower than usual and much more aware. Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 Just from following all the commentary it sounds like towards the end of the first half and for most of the second half we've played like a clone of last year's team. Is that a fair assessment? Sounds like it on the radio. I hope it looks better in person. Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 This was kind of an "oh well" game MartintheMopMan and Class of '66 Old Fart 2 Quote
MartintheMopMan Posted November 10, 2015 Author Posted November 10, 2015 This was kind of an "oh well" game Yeah. Not dominant in the way we would have liked, but not a bad game. Tough one to learn much from. Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 I think that's too harsh. Our defense hasn't been as good, but isn't as bad as last year. Our offense has had trouble scoring, they have one player who suddenly became unstoppable and has like what, 16 points in the half? Well 'dagnabit', you people have to do a better job with your commentary so I don't jump to the wrong convulsions! I'm kidding. Everyone's efforts are most appreciated by all of us here at the home. MartintheMopMan Posted November 10, 2015 Author Posted November 10, 2015 Terrible layup by OG. His calves blinded him. But, he turned around to a great block. Quote
LIHoosier Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 OG makes up for a bad transition layup attempt by running back and blocking a 3. Crowd is calling for someone or something called Priller. Speaking for myself, I want to see MSB. scots07 and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 Dare I say we played against a better coached team?? Quote

WayneFleekHoosier Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 OG drops another pass from Troy. Showing off Hanner Perea hands. Quote
Kepner Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 I don't think Troy has looked bad all game right? Though, you're right he has been streaky in looking good. I don't think I've said "Dagnabit Troy" at all though. He has learned a bit but after all the talk this offseason about how his decision making and shot had improved, Ive yet to see it. I still don't see him as a lottery pick. He has showed signs of maturity and Im hoping over the course of the season he can get it together Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 Not happy with the way we have finished this one---letting it get too close at the end! Niego is coming in.... jmsgws 1 Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 Home game against Bellarmine. No scrubs on court in clean up duty. Let that sink in a little. Bobman1, Ryno6284, coonhounds and 2 others 5 Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 Hopefully this is a learning experience that "they" aren't as good as they think they are. Quote
LIHoosier Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 Home game against Bellarmine. No scrubs on court in clean up duty. Let that sink in a little. To be fair, before the game they showed their results against Louisville and Cincinnati and they were similar to this. We surely have room for improvement, but Bellarmine should get some credit too. rebelhoosier848891 Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 They have actually outscored IU in the second half. It's now a 10 point game. Quote
