McDavid got me into hockey so I’ve been passively on the Oilers train for a while now. Probably longer than 5 years now that I think about it, but 2 years ago I got really into it and then last year I watched more Oilers games start to finish than I did Pacers games. Cool story: A business associate of mine from Edmonton, had a condo in the same building downtown as a few of Oilers players and ended up catching McDavid before headed to Fort Wayne.
