IU's hockey season starts off next Saturday @ 7pm with the Red vs White game.  I encourage all Btowners to check it out!

 

Check out their schedule and get your behind to the rink for a game!  We root on all things Indiana, you know that!  Here is their roster (it's white on black which is tough on the eyes...just a warning).  IU has a storied 45 year history of hockey that has a total of 584 wins, 2-time Big Ten Champs and 4-time MCHL Champs.  They are coached by Hoosier alum Rich Gordon.

 

In October, IU will host the ICHC (Indiana Collegiate Hockey Conference) Showcase where the likes of Ball State, IPFW, Purdue, and Xavier (not sure how they got in!) will converge on Bloomington for a weekend gala of hockey. 

 

GO HOOSIERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm certainly not saying D3 isn't a great movie. It's just no D2.

But I mean come on, that liquid nitrogen prank? Classic. They really showed Varsity.

I've never forgiven the varsity for being total asshats. Not completely over Banks becoming too cool for the JV either, regardless of how it turned out. IMO, not a true team leader, IMO.

He never really was though. I mean, he was always an outsider, he never made it through a movie on the team the whole time. There's a reason he is absolutely no one's favorite character.

 

While we're on the subject though, the whole Varsity v. JV situation is just crazy. Varsity is by definition a superior squad. It's like putting a D3 team against a D1. How was JV supposed to ever have a shot?
