(2017) SG Al Durham Jr. to IU

Recommended Posts

Congrats Al !  Welcome to the IU family.

IMO Al is another diamond in the rough who will be polished up as soon as he puts in Cook--work. Another sleeper who will soon be revealed to the nation--already a slasher----hard to handle as soon as he gets a consistent jumpshot! Glad he is coming to BTown...

Nice to see you have returned. Isn't there a thread that needs reviving for old time sakes.

Georgia's Elite 8 Classic Top Performers

http://ontheradarhoops.com/otrhoopsreport-georgias-elite-8-classic-top-performers-nov-14-2016/

Al Durham – (Lilburn, Ga) – Berkmar

This Indiana signee was able to get to the basket at will, he showed the ability to score at all three levels. He is an athletic slasher that is very effective at getting to the basket and finishing, He can make acrobatic plays in transition.  Durham was also effective in pick and roll situations where he consistently hit the deep jumper or found teammates cutting to the basket.

FWIW, I've seen multiple tweets that he had 33 pts., although I'm more inclined to accept the newspaper account as his actual total.

Berkmar defeated Brookwood 71-63 in a Region 7-AAAAAAA matchup on Tuesday. Al Durham led the Patriots (3-3, 2-1) with 27 points and five assists.
