Weak Indiana HS Senior Class

Recommended Posts

You took that comment more literal than I meant it. I probably should have explained it better. I didn't mean necessarily beating us head-to-head, I meant beating us in terms of consistency, winning coference titles and conference tournament titles and competing for Final Fours, etc.

Gotcha. Then I completely agree with the previous post.

2016 and 2017 are shaping up to be two of the best years in recruiting over the whole nation and for Indiana as well. We are in good shape with a lot of good recruits for 2016 and 2017 looks to be one of the best years from Indiana prospects, who we are also on good terms with

IU under Crean is always in good shape with kids 2-3 years out. Commit time is a different story.

Except I know a kid from the top 2017 AAU team(featuring several players at the top of the 2017 class) and he keeps saying how much they all really like Crean.

2016 class is only around the corner

But who says Crean will still be around?

Heard it all before and then the huge list dwindles down to Tim Priller. As you said 2016 is coming up. We shall see.

My guess is he probably knocks their socks off with the initial pitch ("It's Indiana, it's Indiana," etc.) but once they start finding out about things like 4 hour practices, inability to develop bigs and being demanding to the point where he has multiple transfers (both player and staff) every year, the thought of spending college years around his manic energy with no clear goals probably seems a lot less rosy.
