I'm not saying I know anything, but I do know from personal experience that "not being charged" does NOT equal innocent.

"Separate allegations of sexual assault by Sulaimon came from two female students in the 2013-14 academic year. Both students voiced allegations publicly, but neither filed a complaint through the Office of Student Conduct or took legal action through the Durham Police Department. The students declined to discuss their allegations with The Chronicle."

Another article that talks about the situation

No one really knows what happened. There were allegations that he sexually assaulted two female students but they didn't even file a complaint with the university or the police. Its a weird situation but you have to expect that Maryland looked into it on a deep level.

I stand by my post. Lack of prosecution does not equal innocence.

I hope for the sake of your sanity, that no one close to you, should ever face adversity

That's a really silly comment, if you ask me.

I'm not even sure the proper way to reply.

on the flip side, being found guilty does not guarantee guilt.

Dang, you're right. I'm not trying to condemn the kid, I'm just saying that outside the pressure cooker of college bball, justice gets twisted for a whole lot of reasons. Inside that cooker, things get even more weird. Either way I pray his accusers find peace, and Rashid finds a way to be his best self. None of us will ever know what happened.

I have nothing invested in his case. Im not saying he is guilty or innocent. We don't know what happened. We don't know the intentions of anyone involved. Im just saying both sides have their story.

"Allegations" do not equal guilt.

That was kind of my point. We don't know. Just throwing out there the idea that no charges being filed doesn't mean innocence. My experience could be way different than anyone else's

@JonRothstein: Seton Hall transfer Sterling Gibbs will begin his visit to UConn today. Visited Ohio State last weekend. Immediately eligible. 16.3 PPG.

Could be a big pickup for someone.

Anyone know if we could have a shot of bringing Gibbs in?

No thanks. Didn't he have some trouble at SH? I know he jacked Arcidiacono (sp?) from Nova in the middle of a game last year.
