Crean Against the World

Recommended Posts

alford Bailey gets it! That is exactly what he is saying. Now infer into that as you may. 3 choices. He is blaming himself, the program, the coach or a combination for not playing up to his potential. And who honestly blames themselves in this day and age??

sounds like what we heard from Vonleh

I will. I will also posts the tweets of those supporting the program. I don't have an agenda, I just post newsworthy IU material as I find it. We don't see a lot of public support for Coach Crean and this regime but when I see it, I am thrilled to post it and I have.

For the record, it's not that vague of a tweet.

Verdell Jones, tweets that he's excited that he's playing like a high level guard again overseas, and this is newsworthy?

We don't see a lot of public support for Crean? Two weeks ago every publication in the nation had some article about how great of a job Crean is doing this season. Not saying I agree, but there is more than enough public support of Crean out there. A lot of hate too.

to be fair, he didn't just say he's happy he's playing at a high level. That wouldn't have been anything special. He specifically isolated his college years by saying he was good pre college and good now. It was worded specifically for a reason.

Yeah, he wasn't great in college.

Unless you have insider information or additional support for your claim that VJIII is taking shots at Crean via twitter for no reason, I'm going to challenge it.

I loved the "Were Back" T-Shirts. What are we back to?

Those shirts came out after we couldn't sniff .500 and we beat Kentucky. Yeah I would say that was as good as we have seen in 20 years. To be fair Crean must make a final four. To be comparable to every coach in IU history in a 64 team tournament that is. I don't see him winning in a 32 team field or less any time soon.

I feel sorry for some of you guys. Reading that far into Verdell Jones' tweet... it's classic chicken little. Yeah, just like Vonleh... perpetuating false rumors and the like doesn't exactly help your brilliant criticism. Come on guys.

It's so painfully obvious that the truth is constantly manipulated to fit the agenda of your "select group" of anti-Crean cronies. Face it, Crean is not the clueless/spaz/used car salesman that you try to continuously play up.

I know none of you will change your opinions so you'll just have to watch it play out. I really do feel bad for you--wish you guys could enjoy this more. It sure beats players selling weed on street corners the day of a game. It beats a coach evaluating Michael Conley and concluding he is not a Big Ten player. Not that it's an accomplishment to be compared to those coaches, but hell... there is something brewing here with this team.
