Hoosiers toughest stretch due to start Sunday

Recommended Posts

It's my belief that the next 4 games are going to either make or break our Hoosiers chances at a conference title or finishing in the upper echelon.

@Illannoy  (This would be a HUGE win for us. It would mean we win both single play road games)

vs Maryland (Very tough match up for us. Have excellent guard play and decent bigs. Have to hold serve at home. Payback is a dish best served cold. We havent forgotten 2002 Twerps)

@O$U (I dont think their is any realistic shot at us winning this ballgame. I predict a 10+ point loss)

@ Purdouche  (Always a must win. I hate everything about Purdue. The name, the colors, the women (beasts), the smell of the town, etc. If we could get back to beating them twice a year, that's be great.

If we split this 4 game stretch, I think we will be in good shape. If we take 3 or 4 games, we would be putting ourselves in position to win the B1G. Thoughts?

Purspew will hate max. He will do or say something prior to the game.

Yeah,I loved after the 3 point contest when he told Sydnee I'm Max Hoetzel I don't loose 3 point contests.

He has a playfulness and cockiness I like.A little more strength and experience  and he very well could  be our thorn in the Toilet makers side.

I would say we will most likely go 2-2 and maybe sneak in a win over Maryland just based on the fact that it is at the Hall. We should beat Illinois (especially without Rice, even though they're still not bad) and Purdue could only give us trouble on the inside, considering they have two 7 footers. OSU, imo, is a loss.

Illinois worries me a little bit even without Rice. Egwu has been playing well this year, and usually gives us problems anyways. Hopefully we can pack it inside with the zone and force them to beat us from deep, which barring someone going off, should be enough in theory. Idk. I hate playing in Champbana. It's a dump.

They hate us. A 20 point beat down wouldnt surprise me.

Honestly, the smell hovering around West Lafayette is nauseating.   My Mom was living there for several years while I was going to IU, so i'd be up there visiting quite a bit...   and trust me, it stinks like dog food.   I believe that it's the ethanol plant that's near there.

Or it could be from the methane coming out of their coeds

We've always done well under Tom Crean against ranked opponents, especially at home. So to me, the games that worry me are the games against teams like Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, NW, Purdue, etc. Those middle of the pack games are going to decide the difference between finishing 2-5 in the conference and 6-8.

We've got to hold home court/split against the OSU's, Maryland's and MSU's of the world, and then steal some road wins against the Illinois, Purdue's and NW's of the world. I feel like it's the middle of the pack teams we've struggled against in the past. The Nebraska road win was a great start.
