How do you think the Hoosiers will do in the Big Ten Conference?

I have the Hoosiers at 10-8 in the conference, placing them around 8th in the B1G.

Outside of Wisconsin, the Big10 stinks this year. Even with our defensive and interior deficiences, if IU finishes lower than 6th I consider this season a failure. We have a tough start to the conference slate, but we can shoot and the conference lost a ton of the talent that was proping it up the last few years.

I agree...the Big10 is down, but the B1G also easily won the challenge with the ACC. I would say that college BB is down in general this year outside of the top 5 or so teams. I feel pretty confident that we could finish in the top 5 in the B1G. "Good" will be a very relative term this year.

The Big10 won the ACC challenge by having better bottom feeders. Just about all of our top teams lost their matchups.

I think coming into this year there were just a few teams that were super overrated in the BIg Ten. Michigan and Nebraska lead the pack as overrated. I think IU finishes in the top five if we can stay confident and shoot the ball well

That's what I'm predicting as well. No reason why IU shouldn't finish top 5. Maybe even 4.

Right now I say we are in the 5-7 range in the Big Ten.

But now that I've seen a lot of the other teams----I agree we can get to 3 or 4 if we tighten up our D and rebounding!

We may have to if we want to make the tourney----because if the Big ten is seen as being down we won't get as many teams in the dance!

Better D and rebounding will be the difference between a fair season and a good season.

I just hope our D gets to the point we can get back to back stops on key late game possessions----I think it will.

There has been some improvement and we have some good tests left to get it even better before Big Ten starts!

The stupid thing is just that these guys KNOW how to box out.. most of them just refuse to do it. What I see is yogi, nick and Colin boxing dudes out on a consistent basis. Everyone else may do it every once in a while but they are just crashing or going for highlight boards.

I watched Hanner yesterday just not even try to go after a board because it was floating 5 foot out of his space. It hit the ground and GCU player just sprinted over and grabbed it.

I just feel like this is a weird problem for a Crean team to have. Even during the rebuild we were at least an okay rebounding team. Now we have athletes and "are small". I just don't get what it takes. If I'm coach and I don't see a player go after a box out or looking for a person. Ur tail is coming to the bench.

Offensive boards are even worse. As soon as we shoot a 3, our guys on the floor just halfway start running the opposite direction. Not even trying to go after an o board
