Ivan Rabb (6'10" 2015)

Recommended Posts

Just saw an article about Ivan Rabb (6'10" 2015).  Have not heard or seen anywhere that IU has even looked at this guy.

He just played Saturday (Nov 29) at the Prep2Prep Tip-Off Classic at Newark Memorial.

He played AGAINST Chase Jeter 6'11" (Duke 2015) and Stephen Zimmerman 7'0" (2015 Undeclared).  All three in 2015 Top Ten in the country.

Ivan got 28 points and 20 rebounds against a combined 24 points and 16 rebounds for Jeter and Zimmerman.

Take a look at the article by googling "Ivan Rabb handle Bishop Gorman".

If  you know how to get this name to CTC, get it there!

Well definitively going to UK or Arizona. IU will never get someone like that. We never used Vonleh last year and he was a beast. Why would a good center want to come someplace they would never get the ball?

I looked at the extended list on the above link and did not see IU on it.

Is there any reason why IU could not go see him and offer him a scholarship and see if his list would expand to top 6 instead of tope 5?

WAYYY too late. A lot of people don't realize that with recruiting, you can't really come in at the last minute and expect to make an impact on a guy. Not with someone as highly touted as this kid. Most schools have been recruiting him for years on end. Recruiting isn't a easy as most people tend to think

Well Noah was a lottery pick. Same as Zeller. That's what is attractive to kids. Some thought we wouldn't get a high profile big after Zeller for the same reasons you listed. We did.

This argument has gotten really old. Did you see what happened last year when Vonleh got the ball, 75% of the time it wasn't pretty. The kid had no post moves and panicked anytime he got double teamed. Of course besides Yogi he didn't have anyone to pass to but Vonleh had his fair share of struggles last year
